Bollywood sensation Allu Arjun lit up Chennai at the pre-release event of Pushpa 2: The Rule, delighting fans with heartfelt nostalgia and charismatic energy. Addressing a packed auditorium, Arjun began his speech with a warm “Vannakam Tamil makkale!” setting the tone for an evening filled with emotion and celebration.
“I am a Chennai boy,” the actor proclaimed proudly. “No matter where I go nationally or internationally, Chennai remains my roots. I was born and raised here until my early 20s, and this city holds a special place in my heart.”
True to his words, Arjun made it a point to speak in Tamil, a nod of respect to the city where his journey began. The Pushpa star expressed his delight in launching the song Kissik in Chennai, where his connection with fans remains strong. “Speaking in Tamil feels like coming home,” he said, opting for the local language despite requests to switch to Telugu.
Adding a touch of flair, Allu Arjun gave a playful nod to Superstar Rajinikanth when asked about his first First Day First Show experience. With dramatic gestures and a knowing smile, he declared, “Just the actions are enough to understand, right?” The tribute to Thalaivar sent waves of cheer across the auditorium.
