Celebrating 50 Years of Nandamuri Balakrishna: A Star-Studded Tribute to a Cinematic Legend

The Telugu Film Chamber hosted a spectacular event to celebrate Nandamuri Balakrishna’s remarkable 50-year journey in the film industry. The gathering was graced by prominent personalities from Indian cinema and politics, alongside a throng of enthusiastic fans who came together to honor the legendary actor.

Megastar Chiranjeevi lauded Balakrishna, remarking, “He is a son worthy of his father… Samara Simha Reddy inspired me to take on the role in Indra.” Chiranjeevi also expressed his wish to collaborate with Balakrishna on a faction film directed by Boyapati Srinu and YVS Chowdary. On a personal note, he added, “There’s no special occasion at home without Balayya’s presence.”

Director Boyapati Srinu praised Balakrishna’s boundless energy, while Kamal Haasan, in a video message, described him as “a pure-hearted man of principles,” and wished him good health and happiness. Manchu Mohan Babu highlighted Balakrishna’s illustrious filmography, particularly the films that had record-breaking runs of 500 days.

Daggubati Venkatesh commended Balakrishna’s accomplishments, stating, “Coming from such a distinguished family, Balayya Babu has carved out a unique place in people’s hearts and serves as an inspiration to aspiring actors.”

In his acceptance speech, Balakrishna expressed his heartfelt gratitude, saying, “I would like to thank all my fans, fellow actors, and those who have worked with me over the years. I am deeply grateful to my parents and will cherish the love you’ve all shown me.” He also paid tribute to his father, acknowledging the lessons he learned from him.
