Actor Jr. NTR has admitted to feeling “very nervous” about his upcoming film Devara, as it will be his first solo release in six years, following the massive success of RRR. “I’m truly nervous because Devara is releasing after RRR, which made a huge impact at the global box office. I owe a lot to my co-star Ram Charan for that,” he said, adding, “This is my first solo release in six years, and the expectations are incredibly high.”
When asked about the record-breaking advance bookings in North America, Jr. NTR humbly attributed the success to his fans and divine blessings. “It’s all due to God’s blessings and the support of my loyal fans,” he added.
Promoting the film in the Hindi-speaking regions, NTR has been drawing attention, especially after the Hindi dubbing rights for Devara were sold for over ₹50 crores. A distributor commented on the deal, saying, “It was a high-profile deal, and the film is expected to have a big opening in North India. The initial price was set at ₹40 crores, but due to NTR’s rising popularity across India and his upcoming Bollywood debut in War 2, the price increased to ₹50 crores.”
The film, which also stars Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, will see Alia Bhatt joining the promotional efforts. “Promotions are crucial, and having Bollywood stars involved will boost the film’s visibility in North India, helping to secure strong openings,” the distributor concluded.
