After a long hiatus, Tollywood heartthrob Raj Tarun is back on the big screen with the action comedy drama “Purushothamudu.” Directed by the talented Ram Bhimana, the film hit theaters on July 26 to a mixed reception, falling short of expectations.
However, the movie is not giving up just yet. With a new lease on life, “Purushothamudu” is set to make its mark on the OTT platform. The streaming date has been confirmed, and fans can catch the film on Aaha OTT starting August 29.
In a recent tweet, Aha OTT shared the exciting news: “Be ready to see the power of courage. Purushottamu will premiere on Aha on August 29.” The film features Hasini Sudheer as the female lead alongside Raj Tarun, with Prakash Raj, Ramyakrishna, Muralisharma, and Brahmanandam in pivotal roles.
The storyline follows a young man’s quest to climb the corporate ladder and experience life as an ordinary person within 100 days. Produced by Ramesh Tejawat and Prakash Tejawat under the Sri Sridevi Production banner, the film boasts a musical score by Gopi Sundar.
Despite its initial reception, “Purushothamudu” is geared up for a digital debut, promising viewers an entertaining ride filled with action, comedy, and drama.
Alongside “Purushothamudu,” Raj Tarun also stars in “Darhbadara Sami,” another recent release that faced challenges at the box office. With Malvi Malhotra as the female lead, the film failed to make a mark commercially.
