Ram Charan Becomes First Indian Ambassador for Art and Culture at IFFM 2024

The actor will be honored with the title of Ambassador for Indian Art and Culture at the 15th Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM), making Ram Charan the first Indian to receive this accolade.

In a statement, the actor expressed his gratitude, saying, “I am deeply honored to be part of the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne, which celebrates the diversity and richness of Indian cinema on an international stage. It’s a privilege to represent our film industry and connect with fans and cinephiles worldwide.”

He added, “The success of RRR and the global love it received has been overwhelming, and I am excited to share this moment with the audience in Melbourne. I look forward to this incredible opportunity to raise our national flag here in Melbourne.”

The IFFM, the official film festival hosted annually by the Victorian State Government, will take place this year from August 15, 2024.
