Renu Desai, a renowned former actress who has shifted her focus towards social service, recently performed a sacred Ganapati Chandi Homa at her home. The ceremony, organized on the auspicious occasion of Sharad Purnima, saw her son Akira Nandan actively participating alongside her. Renu Desai, who shared a heartfelt video of the event on social media, emphasized the significance of instilling cultural values in children.

In her social media post, Renu expressed, “On the occasion of Sharad Purnima, we conducted Ganapati and Chandihoma at our house with great devotion. It is our responsibility to convey the richness of our culture to our children.” She also urged people to maintain calm and focus on devotion during religious rituals, rather than indulging in loud celebrations.

Her video quickly went viral on social media, showcasing her devotion to God. Known for her deep spirituality, Renu Desai frequently participates in religious ceremonies, drawing attention to the essence of genuine devotion. She has often criticized the modern trend of making festivals more about entertainment and noise, rather than focusing on their religious and cultural significance. Her earlier post during Vinayaka Chavithi also sparked widespread discussion, highlighting her commitment to meaningful celebrations.

Apart from her spiritual life, Renu Desai has been leading a fulfilling life as a single mother, raising her children Aadya and Akira Nandan. Although she stepped away from films after her marriage, she made a notable comeback in the movie Tiger Nageswara Rao, where her portrayal of Hemalatha Lavanam received critical acclaim. Fans hoped she would return to the silver screen full-time, but there has been no follow-up project in the last year.

Recently, Renu teased her followers on social media with a cryptic post, hinting at her possible return to the entertainment industry. However, she left fans guessing, without revealing whether she would be starring in a movie or a web series. As her admirers eagerly await her next move, Renu remains focused on her social work, helping underprivileged children and animals, and encouraging her followers to contribute to these causes.

Despite her absence from the film industry, Renu Desai continues to inspire with her devotion to both social service and spirituality. Her efforts to blend traditional values with modern responsibilities, and her unwavering dedication to raising her children in a meaningful, value-driven environment, make her a beloved figure among her fans.
