There’s a glimmer of hope for fans rooting for a reunion between actor-filmmaker Dhanush and his wife, filmmaker Aishwarya Rajinikanth. The couple, who had announced their separation in 2022 after 18 years of marriage, may be heading toward reconciliation, with recent developments adding fuel to the speculation.
After filing for divorce in the Chennai Family Court, Dhanush and Aishwarya’s legal proceedings have been postponed multiple times due to missed court dates, with the next hearing now set for November 21. Their recent absences from scheduled court dates, along with a Diwali family gathering, have led many to believe the couple might be working things out.
Reports indicate that Dhanush spent Diwali day with Aishwarya and their sons, Linga and Yatra, at her father Rajinikanth’s Pose Garden residence. Sources close to the family mentioned that Dhanush held a candid discussion with Rajinikanth, reportedly sharing his perspective on the separation and possibly making commitments toward reconciliation. Notably, Dhanush also acknowledged Aishwarya’s social media post celebrating Onam earlier this year, which fans viewed as a positive signal.
