The second day of the IIFA 2024 event at Yas Island, Abu Dhabi was an unforgettable night, as Bollywood’s Badshah Shah Rukh Khan took center stage to host the star-studded awards ceremony. The audience was treated to a night of glitz, glamour, and SRK’s signature charm. With legendary stars like Rekha, Hema Malini, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol seated in the front row, the night was set for a Bollywood extravaganza.

Known for his witty one-liners, Shah Rukh Khan didn’t disappoint as he and fellow actor Vicky Kaushal kept the crowd entertained with their light-hearted banter. At one point, Vicky teasingly reminded SRK of the flop movies he had done over the years, but King Khan’s quick response left everyone laughing. He humorously mentioned that he had also turned down a few movies that went on to become blockbusters. When Vicky asked why he passed on Pushpa, SRK replied, “I can’t match the swag of Allu Arjun sir,” which drew a thunderous cheer from the audience.

The night became even more memorable when SRK attempted to groove to the famous item number from Pushpa, Oo Antava, joking that he wouldn’t have been able to pull off a song like that. His playful take on the hit song left the crowd roaring with laughter.

Later, veteran actor Venkatesh took the stage to present an award and playfully asked Shah Rukh if he would have taken up the lead role in Anari had it been offered to him. With his trademark wit, SRK responded, “No. I am way too educated for the role!” The crowd erupted into laughter once again, as SRK’s humor made it clear why he remains one of the most beloved stars in Bollywood.

The night was a celebration not just of the best performances of the year but also of the camaraderie, laughter, and undeniable charisma that only Shah Rukh Khan can bring to the stage.
