Young Tollywood star Siddhu Jonnalagadda recently shared his admiration for Tamil actor Suriya, praising him as one of the most versatile actors in Indian cinema. At an event held ahead of Suriya’s much-anticipated film Kanguva, Siddhu opened up about his admiration, saying, “You were very honest and earnest in Surya S/O Krishnan, inspiring us all with close-to-life characters. You kept us engaged with your performances without the need for typical action sequences.”
For Siddhu, who was meeting Suriya in person for the first time, it was a memorable moment. “Although I am a great admirer of his work, I hadn’t met him until now, so sitting beside him today was quite special,” Siddhu shared excitedly. He went on to describe Suriya as a “complete actor,” applauding his ability to portray a soft romantic hero in one film and a fierce, intense character in another. Citing films like Ghajini, Siva Putrudu, and Raktha Charithra, Siddhu highlighted Suriya’s unmatched versatility and called him a member of the “big actors’ league.”
Siddhu also expressed the deep connection Telugu audiences feel with Suriya, attributing it to the actor’s immense talent and relatable characters. “We will always love and adore you as we have been doing for years,” he said, assuring Suriya of the strong bond he shares with Telugu fans.
Siddhu, who is currently riding high on the success of Tillu Square, is also working on two exciting projects: a love story Telusu Kadha and a thriller Jack, directed by Bhaskar. As he continues to make his mark in the industry, Siddhu’s heartfelt admiration for Suriya reflects the strong camaraderie and mutual respect between actors across Indian cinema.
