Ahead of the release of her highly anticipated film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, actress Vidya Balan shared the reasons behind her decision to skip the second installment of the franchise and her excitement about rejoining the iconic series. At a recent event, Vidya revealed, “After Bhool Bhulaiyaa 1 gave me so much, I was concerned about taking any missteps with BB2. I felt BB2 mein kuch gadbad na kar dun…phir sab paani phir jayega (I was worried that any wrong step in BB2 could take away all the success we achieved in BB1).” Her love for the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 script, however, was enough to bring her back to the franchise. “When I heard the script for BB3, I loved it tremendously, and here I am.”
Vidya also shared her enthusiasm about co-starring with the legendary Madhuri Dixit, calling it “a dream come true” and a “lifetime opportunity” to share screen space and even dance alongside her. Reflecting on her excitement, Vidya said, “Dancing with Madhuri has been a dream of mine for so long. This experience feels surreal.”
She didn’t hold back her praise for co-star Kartik Aaryan either, who has been a prominent presence in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and continues to be a fan favorite. “I loved watching Kartik in Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety,” she shared, complimenting his hard work and dedication both on and off the screen. “He’s very charming and is getting better with every film. He’s involved in every aspect, including promotions. I even asked him, ‘Tum kya sote nahi ho?’ (Don’t you ever sleep?). He’s a huge support.”
With a powerful cast, intriguing storyline, and Vidya Balan’s return, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 promises to deliver yet another thrilling chapter to the much-loved franchise.
