In an effort to improve tenth-grade exam results, the Andhra Pradesh government has introduced a 100-day plan for students preparing for their public exams in March 2024. The initiative aims to ensure that students perform at their best, particularly following the underwhelming results from the last three years.
What’s in the 100-Day Plan?
The special 100-day plan, which began on December 2, is designed to provide additional support to students in government and private schools in Prathipadu constituency. Approximately 2,000 students are benefiting from this initiative, which includes personalized attention and extended study hours.
Teacher’s Role in the Plan
Each teacher is now responsible for mentoring 5 to 8 students, guiding them on subject-specific skills and boosting their motivation to achieve high marks. The plan also extends class durations from 45 minutes to 90 minutes to cover the syllabus thoroughly.
Additional Efforts for Better Results
Teachers are also conducting extra classes during early mornings (8 to 9 AM) and evenings (4 to 5 PM) to ensure comprehensive coverage. Regular subject-based tests are being administered, with immediate feedback to monitor progress. Teachers are working tirelessly to clear doubts and offer continuous support, ensuring that each student is fully prepared for the exams.
The goal is clear: to ensure that every student in Prathipadu achieves top marks and performs beyond expectations in the upcoming tenth-grade exams.
