According to sources in Chennai, there are reports that actress Sreeleela turned down an offer to star alongside Tamil actor Karthi in a movie because it featured two heroines. Sreeleela apparently prefers roles where she is the sole heroine, even in the Tamil film industry, and was not keen on sharing the screen with another actress. It is said that she rejected a role in the recently launched film “Sardar 2” as it was designed as a two-heroine project, a decision that was influenced by her popularity in the Telugu film industry.
Her most recent Telugu film, “Guntur Kaaram,” was a hit, and her lively dance performance with superstar Mahesh Babu in the song “Kurichi Madathapetti” garnered global attention. She has showcased her dancing skills in Telugu movies like “Dhamaka” and “Skanda.” Currently, she is occupied with endorsing retail brands in Chennai and is enjoying financial success. Sources suggest that she is waiting for the right opportunity to work with a prominent Tamil actor in a significant role.
