All India Coordination Conference of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Commences in Palakkad, Kerala

The All India Coordination Conference of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) kicked off in Palakkad, Kerala, on Saturday, marking the beginning of a three-day gathering that will run until September 2. The conference, presided over by RSS chief Dr. Mohan Bhagwat, saw the participation of Sarkaryawah Dattatreya Hosabale and six other key officials of the Sangha.

Before the commencement of the conference, All India Publicity Chief Sunil Ambekar highlighted that the primary focus of the meeting would be national issues. Discussions during the initial sessions included addressing the recent landslides in Wayanad, with delegates briefed on the relief efforts and support activities conducted by volunteers for those affected by the natural disaster.

This particular conference holds significance as it marks the first instance of the All India Coordination Conference being hosted in Kerala, despite several previous All India level conferences held in the state. With the upcoming centenary celebration of RSS in 2025, preparations and plans related to this milestone were also deliberated upon during the meeting. Sunil Ambekar emphasized that the centenary celebrations, coinciding with Vijayadashami, will introduce various initiatives focusing on community harmony, family welfare, environmental conservation, self and nation development, and aiding the populace. The agenda includes discussions on nationwide social reform based on domestic and civic responsibilities.

A diverse array of organizations participated in the conference, including representatives from Rashtra Sevika Samiti, Vanavasi Kalyan Ashram, Vishwa Ashram, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, Bharatiya Kisan Sangh, Vidya Bharati, Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, among others. The event saw the attendance of 230 representatives from various entities and 90 national level union officials.

Numerous prominent figures were present at the conference, including Dr. Mohan Bhagwat, Sarkaryava Shri Dattatreya Hosabale, and other key officials of the Sangh. Notable attendees included Shantaka ji, Chief Secretary of Rashtra Sevika Samiti, Sita Annadanam, Chief Worker, Satyendra Singh, President of Vanavasi Kalyan Ashram, and leaders from various affiliated organizations, totaling around 300 activists.
