Renowned actor Amitabh Bachchan has recently aligned with the Union Home Ministry’s initiative to combat online fraud in India, voicing his endorsement for the government’s endeavors in addressing cybercrime. Bachchan revealed his association with the Indian Cybercrime Coordination Centre (I4C) campaign earlier this week, underscoring the importance of vigilance and awareness among individuals to safeguard themselves from cyber threats. Through his involvement, Bachchan aims to enhance public consciousness regarding the escalating issue of cybercrime and prompt individuals to exercise caution in their online engagements to mitigate potential risks. Notably, the actor cited his decision to support the anti-cybercrime campaign upon the request of Home Minister Amit Shah.
In response, Home Minister Amit Shah expressed gratitude towards the esteemed actor, stating, “I extend my appreciation to Shri @SrBachchan Ji for enlisting in this initiative. The active participation of Amitabh Bachchan Ji will further propel our mission to establish a cyber-secure Bharat.”
