During his visit to Delhi, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu is engaged in a series of meetings with key figures. Today’s agenda includes meetings with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. The CM’s visit has generated anticipation, especially since this marks his first meeting with the Prime Minister post the Union Budget.
Chandrababu’s packed schedule in Delhi includes discussions on various topics. Upon arrival, he had a detailed conversation with CR Patil, the Minister of Hydropower, focusing on the progress of the Polavaram project. The meeting was attended by Union Ministers and state officials. Subsequently, Chandrababu joined a dinner with NDA MPs from Andhra Pradesh.
Later in the day, Chandrababu is set to meet Prime Minister Modi to deliberate on budgetary assurances and key issues such as the reconstruction of Amaravati, funding for Polavaram, and support for backward districts. Additionally, discussions are expected to revolve around new loans and the recent special assistance allocated to Amaravati. The CM will also present a petition to Prime Minister Modi regarding loan rescheduling during the previous government’s tenure.
Following this, Chandrababu has meetings scheduled with Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Union Home Minister Amit Shah to address financial matters and state-specific concerns. The discussions are aimed at increasing allocations to the state and resolving pending issues outlined in the Partition Act. Furthermore, plans for establishing a greenfield crude oil refinery and petrochemical complex in Andhra Pradesh will be a focal point of the conversations with Union Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri.
