Andhra Pradesh Constable Physical Fitness Tests for Female Candidates Commence from January 3
The Andhra Pradesh Constable recruitment process has entered a critical stage as the physical fitness tests are being conducted across the state. These tests began on December 30 for male candidates and started on January 3 for female candidates at the Guntur Police Parade Ground. The event was inaugurated by SP Satish Kumar, marking the beginning of the physical fitness and running competitions designed for women applying for constable posts.
The first day saw 216 female candidates participate in various physical tests, including 1600 meters, 100 meters run, and long jump. However, 26 candidates were asked to return as they lacked the necessary certificates. The remaining 190 female candidates underwent height and weight measurements to assess their eligibility.
The tests will continue until February 1, 2025, across all 13 joint district centers. These physical tests are a crucial part of the recruitment process for filling 6,100 police constable posts across the state. Female candidates attending the tests are reminded to carry the relevant certificates as per the requirements.
