Apple’s Remarkable Revenue Growth Across 20+ Countries in Q2 2024: Insights by Tim Cook

Apple, the renowned producer of iPhones, has experienced remarkable revenue growth not only in India but also in more than twenty countries during the quarter ending on June 30, 2024, as stated by Tim Cook, the company’s CEO, on Friday.

During the June quarter of 2024, Apple saw a notable 7.8% increase in net income, reaching $21.44 billion, up from $19.8 billion in the corresponding period last year. Furthermore, there was a 4.8% rise in total net sales to $85.77 billion for the reported quarter compared to $81.79 billion in the June quarter of 2023.

Tim Cook remarked, “Apple has achieved a new revenue milestone of $85.8 billion in the June quarter, marking a 5% increase from the previous year and surpassing our expectations. We have also set new quarterly revenue records in numerous countries and regions, such as Canada, Mexico, France, Germany, the UK, India, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Thailand.”

Notably, Apple’s revenue from the ‘Rest of Asia Pacific’ region, which encompasses India, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Thailand, grew by $760 million in the June quarter compared to the previous year. While iPhone sales experienced a slight decline to $39.29 billion from $39.66 billion a year ago, Apple witnessed a 2.4% increase in Mac sales, surpassing $7 billion from $6.8 billion, and a substantial 24% growth in iPad sales to $7.16 billion from $5.8 billion year-over-year.
