TTD EO AV Dharmareddy said that in celebration of Vaikunta Ekadashi, extensive arrangements are being made for devotees to visit Vaikuntha Dwaram in Srivari temple for 10 days from 23rd of this month to 1st of January. He spoke to the reporters after the Dial your EO program at the local Annamayya building on Friday. ‘During the days of Vaikunta Ekadashi, devotees are suffering from cold in the queue. Only those devotees who have received timetokens will be allowed to have darshan without waiting for long time. We have already issued timelot and Srivari tickets online. A total of 4,23,500 tokens will be sanctioned from 22nd of this month through 94 counters in ten centers in Tirupati and Tirumala.
We have canceled Kalyanotsavam, Oonjal Seva and Arjita Brahmotsava services from 22nd to 24th and 31st to 1st January of this month. These services will be conducted separately from December 25 to 30. On the day of Vaikunta Ekadashi, from 9 am to 11 am, Srimalayappaswamy rides the streets of Mada on a golden chariot. On the occasion of Vaikunta Dwadashi we will conduct chakra bath from 4.30 am to 5.30 am. Adhyaya Natsavam will start from 12th of this month. Since this month is Dhanurmasam from 17th to 14th January, Tiruppavai reading is done in place of Suprabhatam in the morning. Geetha Jayanthi will be held on 23rd of this month at Mahathi Kalakshetra in Tirupati.
