An inter-ministerial central team of six members began inspecting flood-affected areas in Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday to evaluate the damage to crops and properties.
The team was divided into two groups: three members assessed the situation in Guntur and Bapatla districts, while the remaining three focused on Krishna district.

According to R.P. Sisodia, Special Chief Secretary for Disaster Management in Andhra Pradesh, the damage caused by the recent rains and floods has been estimated at ₹26,882 crore.
