Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has expressed strong disapproval of Congress MP and Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi’s remarks on the rape and murder case of a doctor in Kolkata. Scindia criticized Gandhi for his comments, stating that the focus should be on justice for the victim rather than diverting attention elsewhere.

In a social media post, Scindia shared a video clip of Rahul Gandhi responding to questions about the Supreme Court’s involvement in the Kolkata rape case. Gandhi’s statement implying a distraction tactic was met with criticism from Scindia, who condemned the opposition leader’s stance as anti-women and unacceptable.

Furthermore, Scindia took aim at West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, highlighting a pattern of women’s oppression under her leadership. He warned of the dangers to women’s dignity and safety under any government associated with the Indian coalition, particularly in light of the recent incident in Kolkata.
