In a strategic move to revamp the Telangana Telugu Desam Party (TDP), party leader and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has declared the dissolution of existing committees and the upcoming formation of new committees. The focus is on strengthening the party’s presence in Telangana, with detailed plans and directives provided to party leaders on enhancing party activities.
Naidu emphasized the cancellation of ad hoc committees and announced the launch of an online membership registration program. He urged the party to actively engage in membership drives in the near future, signaling a fresh wave of opportunities for the TDP in Telangana. The party is set to embrace young talent, with a clear directive to prioritize youth involvement.
During a meeting with top TTDP leaders at NTR Trust Bhavan, Naidu reiterated the TDP’s commitment to serving all Telugu people. He acknowledged the longstanding support of the public over the past 45 years and reaffirmed the party’s dedication to continued service.
Naidu outlined his dual responsibilities of fortifying the party in Telangana and ensuring justice for the people of Andhra Pradesh. He pledged to visit Telangana biweekly to engage with activists and stakeholders, emphasizing a collaborative decision-making process within the party.
