Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has reignited the vision for Andhra Pradesh’s Amaravati Capital City by resuming construction works at Rayapudi in the Amaravati region on Saturday. Speaking at the event, Naidu confidently declared, “I will build Amaravati as the capital city of Andhra Pradesh in three years.”
This bold statement came as he relaunched the long-anticipated Amaravati Capital City works, which had previously been stalled. Naidu also highlighted the state government’s multi-city development plan, stating that Visakhapatnam will emerge as the financial capital of Andhra Pradesh, while Kurnool will be developed with the establishment of industries and a bench of the Andhra Pradesh High Court.
“We have already re-established life in capital Amaravati. We are committed to the development of the entire state,” Naidu emphasized, while making a point to underline that the capital will be developed without incurring additional expenditure.
Amaravati, envisioned as a world-class capital city, has faced multiple challenges over the years. However, with renewed efforts and Naidu’s leadership, the city is poised to transform into a hub of culture, administration, and innovation, reflecting the aspirations of the people of Andhra Pradesh.
