Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has reaffirmed his government’s commitment to generating two million job opportunities in the next five years, primarily focusing on the private sector. During a review meeting at the Secretariat with officials from various departments, including skill development, MSME, industries, and SERP, Naidu emphasized the need to prioritize employment opportunities for the state’s youth.
Naidu stressed the importance of skill training to ensure that industries have a consistent supply of human resources. “There is significant potential to generate large-scale employment opportunities through skill development programs. We must prioritize work-from-home models through the Hybrid system,” he said during the meeting.
He urged officials to establish skill training centers with the support of multinational companies and explore ways to create job opportunities in flood-affected areas. Naidu also highlighted that focusing on rural employment could contribute greatly to the state’s economic growth, urging collaboration between the government and industrialists to achieve this goal.
The Chief Minister directed officials to develop a comprehensive action plan for creating new employment opportunities in the state, to be presented at the next meeting.
With this promise, Naidu aims to bolster the state’s economy by fostering job creation through both public and private sector initiatives, bringing renewed hope to the youth and rural communities across Andhra Pradesh.
