Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu Announces Salary Hike for Priests and Temple Upgrades

In a recent announcement, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu revealed that priests’ wages will be raised to 15,000 per month, up from the previous 10,000. Additionally, the rate for Dhoopa Deepa Naivedyam will see an increase to 10,000 from 25,000 per month. Naidu also mentioned plans to establish a committee with ministers from three departments to boost temple tourism. Moreover, he stated that two additional members will join the Temple Trust Boards following a review meeting with the endowments department held on Tuesday.
