On Thursday, Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated the initial batch of Anna Canteens in Gudivada, located in Krishna district. Starting from Friday, a series of 100 similar outlets will commence operations across the state. These Anna Canteens will provide meals to underprivileged individuals at a cost of 5 per plate. Accompanying Naidu were his wife Bhuvaneswari, minister Kollu Ravindra, as well as several MPs and MLAs at the state-wide event. As a show of unity, they not only served food to many but also shared a meal with those in need, joining the Chief Minister in this act of compassion.
