Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan’s Initiatives to Strengthen Rural Development in Andhra Pradesh

Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has pledged to enhance the panchayat raj system through regular convening of gram sabhas in all the 13,326 gram panchayats and adopting resolutions for immediate follow-up actions. During his participation in the collectors’ conference at the state Secretariat on Monday, the deputy CM announced the ongoing implementation of a solid waste management system in the villages. Additionally, he inaugurated a pilot project for liquid waste management in his Assembly segment of Pithapuram. Pawan Kalyan disclosed that Andhra Pradesh is committed to providing safe drinking water to 5.4 crore households as part of the Jal Jeevan Mission in the current fiscal year. “We will also focus on constructing new roads and undertaking repairs on damaged roads covering a distance of 4.721 km,” stated Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan.
