Minister Nadendla Manohar emphasized the importance of this program during a meeting with joint collectors from 10 districts. He reiterated that the funds will reach the farmers promptly after the grain purchase, showcasing the government’s dedication to ensuring the financial well-being of those involved in agriculture.
Furthermore, preparations for the smooth operation of the program are well underway, with discussions already held with the staff at farmers’ assurance centers. Minister Nadendla mentioned the proactive measures taken, such as the readiness of trucks and mine bags, along with the implementation of GPS tracking on vehicles to optimize the distribution process.
In response to criticism regarding the government’s 100-day rule, Minister Nadendla questioned the actions of Jaganmohan Reddy, highlighting the government’s commitment to supporting farmers financially. He pointed out the swift deposit of 1674 crores into farmers’ accounts within 30 days of the coalition government taking office, showcasing the prioritization of farmers’ interests.
Addressing the recent challenges faced by farmers due to floods, the government has pledged to provide timely compensation at the field level, ensuring quick relief to those affected. Despite financial constraints, Minister Nadendla affirmed the government’s unwavering dedication to upholding welfare and development under the leadership of CM Chandrababu.
