Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam Launches Tailored R&D Management Certification Program for DRDO Scientists

The Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam launched a Certification Program in Research and Development (R&D) Management tailored for scientists associated with the Defense Research & Development Organization (DRDO) on Monday. This initiative attracted 39 officers from 36 DRDO labs nationwide. Prof. B. Srirangacharyulu, the program’s director, greeted the participants during the inauguration and presented the training modules, covering various crucial aspects of R&D management. These modules include discussions on Concepts and Principles of R&D Management, Project Management, Simulation, Organizational Behavior & Human Relations Management, R&D Processes, Support Functions, Technology Management, Commercialization, Innovation & Creativity Development, and Risk Management. The event was honored by the presence of Dr. Y. Sreenivas Rao, the Director General of Naval Systems & Materials (NS&M).
