Ranaut, a BJP MP representing Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi, takes on the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in the film she has directed. Scheduled for release on September 6, ‘Emergency’ also features Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhary, Milind Soman, Shreyas Talpade, Vishak Nair, and the late Satish Kaushik in significant roles.
