Leopard migration in Tirumala has created a stir. At night, a leopard was spotted near the control room on the way to Srivari Mettu. On seeing the leopard, the security guard panicked and went into the control room. He immediately informed the forest department officials and TTD vigilance officials. Devotees are frightened by the movement of cheetah. Alert security personnel are trying to trace the leopard. It is advised for devotees to be cautious and travel in groups to ensure safety.

A tragic incident last year on the Alipiri route, where a cheetah killed a child, has put authorities on edge. Following the incident, six leopards were captured and relocated to the zoo. The recent sightings of cheetahs near Srivari Mettu have caused tension among devotees and officials. Forest officials are actively searching for the cheetah to prevent any harm to pilgrims.
