Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi embarked on a significant visit to America, where he participated in the Quad Conference held in Wilmington. The conference saw the presence of US President Biden, Australian PM, and Japanese Prime Minister, emphasizing mutual cooperation for the progress of the Indo-Pacific region.
During the meeting with President Biden, Modi discussed various crucial topics, including bilateral relations, the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict, and the Israel-Gaza situation. Modi’s dedication to fostering cooperation among Indo-Pacific countries was evident as he announced a substantial aid of 7.5 million dollars for cancer testing in the region.
Furthermore, Modi shed light on India’s successful cervical cancer treatment system, highlighting the establishment of specialized centers to provide affordable medicines. Expressing readiness to share India’s expertise with other nations, Modi expressed his country’s willingness to host the Quad Summit in 2025.
In addition to his engagements at the Quad Conference, Modi is set to participate in the Future Conference at the UA General Assembly in New York, where he will interact with various business leaders to explore investment opportunities in India. Notably, this visit marks Modi’s ninth official trip to America, underscoring the longstanding diplomatic ties between the two nations.
