Two key weekly trains will now include stops at Srikakulam in Andhra Pradesh and Brahmapur in Odisha, according to a Railway press release on Friday.
Train No. 06089, the MGR Chennai Central-Santragachi Special Express, will begin making stops at Srikakulam Road Station at 5:00 AM and departing at 5:02 AM, and at Brahmapur Station at 8:03 AM, departing at 8:05 AM. This service will operate every Wednesday from September 11 to November 27. On its return journey, the train will stop at Brahmapur at 11:15 AM and depart at 11:20 AM, and at Srikakulam Road Station at 2:05 PM, departing at 2:07 PM. This service will run every Thursday from September 12 to November 28.
Additionally, Train No. 06095, the Tambaram-Santragachi Special Express, will also include these stops. This train will arrive at Srikakulam Road Station at 5:00 AM and depart at 5:02 AM, and will stop at Brahmapur Station at 8:03 AM, departing at 8:05 AM. The service will run every Thursday from September 5 to November 28. On its return, it will stop at Brahmapur at 11:15 AM and depart at 11:20 AM, and at Srikakulam Road Station at 2:05 PM, departing at 2:07 PM, operating every Friday from September 6 to November 29.
