Indian Railways is set to introduce a new Vande Bharat train service connecting Secunderabad and Nagpur in Telangana. This new addition comes as part of the expansion of the Vande Bharat network, which has been receiving positive feedback from passengers for its modern amenities and high-speed travel options.
The distance between Secunderabad and Nagpur spans 578 km, and with the introduction of the Vande Bharat service, commuters can now cover this distance in just 7 hours and 20 minutes. The train will depart from Nagpur at 5 am, arriving in Secunderabad at 12.15 pm on the same day. The return journey will see the train leaving Secunderabad at 1 pm and reaching Nagpur at 8.20 pm.
Officials have announced that the train will make stops at key stations including Kazipet, Ramagundam, Chandrapur, and Sevagram. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to virtually launch this new Vande Bharat train service on September 15.
With the addition of the Nagpur-Secunderabad route and the Nagpur-Pune route starting on the same day, the count of Vande Bharat trains available to the people of Telangana will rise to four, offering enhanced connectivity options for travelers.
