In a major initiative for the Telugu NRI community, NRI Empowerment Minister Kondapalli Srinivas announced that the divine Srinivasa Kalyanams will be performed across 13 cities in eight countries, including the UK, Ireland, and various European nations. Scheduled from November 9 to December 21, 2024, this spiritual tour is designed to bring the blessings of Lord Venkateswara to Telugu devotees worldwide.
The announcement was made at the AP Secretariat in Velagapudi, where the minister released official posters and detailed the upcoming events. Organized in collaboration with APNRTS (Andhra Pradesh Non-Resident Telugu Society), TTD (Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams), and local cultural and voluntary organizations in each host country, the Kalyanams promise to be a grand spiritual experience.
Minister Srinivas emphasized that entry to the Kalyanams will be free for all devotees, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility for everyone who wishes to participate. The rituals will be led by TTD priests and Vedic scholars from Tirumala and conducted according to the Vaikhanasa Agama tradition, maintaining the rich heritage and authenticity of the ceremonies.
This is a unique opportunity for Telugu NRIs to experience the divine blessings and traditions of their homeland, creating a profound spiritual connection and bringing the community closer together. The Srinivasa Kalyanam tour underscores the efforts of the AP government and NRI ministry to preserve and promote Telugu culture and spiritual heritage worldwide.
Devotees in the UK, Ireland, Europe, and other host countries are encouraged to join these sacred events for a memorable experience of devotion and tradition.
