Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has been bravely battling viral fever and a severe cough despite his illness. Not letting his health deter him from his duties, Pawan Kalyan recently held a meeting with officials from the Panchayat Raj and Commissionerate of Rural Development Department at his residence on Thursday morning. The primary agenda of the meeting was to review the ongoing flood situation in the region.

During the meeting, Pawan Kalyan directed the officials to expedite sanitation works and implement super chlorination in areas where floodwaters have receded. The focus on sanitation management was emphasized to prevent the spread of infectious diseases and the breeding of mosquitoes. Additionally, measures such as ensuring a clean water supply and continuous monitoring were stressed to safeguard public health.

Concerns regarding the flood threat to the Eleru reservoir were also discussed, with updates being monitored regularly. Pawan Kalyan, along with his family members, has been affected by the viral fever, prompting them to seek medical advice for proper treatment.

Prior to his illness, Pawan Kalyan had pledged significant donations towards flood relief efforts in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states. His generous contributions included a donation of Rs. 1 crore to the CM Flood Relief Fund and a promise to donate Rs. 1 lakh to each of the 400 panchayats, totaling Rs. 4 crores.
