The sexual allegations against Satyavedu MLA Adimul have sent shockwaves through the political landscape, with the TDP leadership swiftly responding to the accusations. It emerged today that TDP MLA Koneti Adimul was suspended by the party in light of the serious allegations made by a woman in Hyderabad. The woman came forward to the media, claiming that Satyavedu MLA Adimoolam had sexually harassed her, leading to a rapid suspension by the TDP.
This move by the TDP has sparked a heated debate, with Adimul’s family vehemently denying the allegations and expressing concerns over a potential smear campaign. In a recent statement given to TV9 over the phone, MLA Adimoolam vehemently defended himself, stating, “I have not done anything wrong. This is a politically motivated conspiracy against me. Ever since I entered the election fray, there has been a concerted effort to tarnish my image. Some prominent figures from the YCP are also involved, along with individuals claiming allegiance to the TDP. They have resorted to baseless accusations of jealousy and anger, which is deeply troubling.”
Adimulam further added, “I trust in the wisdom of the people. If any wrongdoing has occurred, the truth will prevail. I am accountable to the constituents of Satyavedu who have placed their trust in me. I will respect the party’s decision and ensure that no harm comes to its reputation.” The seasoned politician, with a 50-year political career, expressed confidence in the justice system, despite doubts arising from the silence of other political leaders on the matter.
