During a recent address, Prime Minister Narendra Modi attributed the recent surge in terror attacks in the Jammu region to Pakistan, emphasizing that the destructive intentions of terrorist leaders will not prevail. Modi vowed that India is prepared to confront and overcome any terrorist threats. Describing Pakistan as the “master of terrorism” and the “patron of terrorists,” the Prime Minister criticized the country for not learning from past failed attempts in Jammu and Kashmir and for continuing to provide shelter to terrorists.

Speaking at a ceremony in Dras commemorating the 25th anniversary of the Kargil War, Modi reiterated India’s determination to combat terrorism and ensure peace. He highlighted Pakistan’s history of facing defeat in its misguided actions and expressed confidence in India’s security forces to effectively counter terrorism. Modi also recalled Pakistan’s betrayal during the Kargil War, a period when efforts were underway to foster peace and normalize relations between the two nations.

Reflecting on the sacrifices made by Indian soldiers in Kargil, Modi expressed gratitude for the opportunity to stand alongside them during the conflict. He emphasized the enduring memory of those who gave their lives for the nation and their legacy of bravery and sacrifice that will never be forgotten.
