Reflecting on the journey, he expressed how the simple fitness routine of practicing jiu-jitsu at their campsite evolved into a communal activity, uniting fellow travelers and martial arts enthusiasts from local communities. The video clip titled “seekhoge thoda martial, thoda gentle art” features Rahul Gandhi, an Aikido black belt, and his jiu-jitsu black belt trainer Arun Sharma engaging in martial arts practices and mentoring youth along a remarkable 6,700 km journey. Rahul Gandhi aimed to introduce young individuals to the concept of the ‘Gentle Art’, which combines meditation, jiu-jitsu, aikido, and non-violent conflict resolution techniques. His mission was to cultivate in them the ability to transcend violence with gentleness, equipping them with the skills to foster a more empathetic and secure society.
