Organized under the auspices of the Union Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, the event aims to showcase the latest developments in the renewable energy sector.
AP CM Chandrababu Naidu is en route to Gujarat to partake in the Naluva Global Renewable Energy Investors Meet. The conference, to be hosted in Gandhinagar, will feature the release of a comprehensive report highlighting opportunities in renewable energy.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is slated to attend the three-day conference as the chief guest. He is expected to address the audience on the importance of renewable energy initiatives. CM Chandrababu is scheduled to deliver the opening speech on the first day, focusing on the implementation of solar, solar-wind, and hydro pumped storage power generation projects in Andhra Pradesh.
In addition to discussing incentives and policy decisions related to these projects, Union Minister Prahlad Joshi has extended an invitation to CM Chandrababu to join the Global Renewable Energy Investors Meet. Chandrababu has confirmed his attendance and held discussions with state energy officials regarding his participation.
During the conference, Chandrababu will engage in a meeting with Prime Minister Modi to address the prevailing conditions in the state, particularly the impact of heavy rains, floods, and the subsequent relief measures. Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and a team of central officials have already surveyed the affected areas, prompting Chandrababu to seek financial assistance from the Center for flood relief efforts.
Furthermore, discussions are expected to revolve around a proposed loan of Rs 15,000 crore for Amaravati and the allocation of advance funds for the Polavaram project, as approved in the Detailed Project Report (DPR) by the central government. The Prime Minister’s stance on flood relief initiatives in the state remains eagerly anticipated.
