In a disturbing turn of events, Mumbai Police have arrested a 24-year-old woman, Fatima Khan, who allegedly made a threatening call to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. During the call, she demanded that he resign from his position within ten days, or he would face death.

The threatening communication triggered immediate action from the authorities. Police inquiries revealed that the call was made in connection with Yogi’s upcoming campaign in Maharashtra for the assembly elections. Fatima allegedly threatened to kill Yogi if he entered the state for campaigning, claiming that he should resign from his post as Chief Minister or risk dire consequences.

Fatima Khan, who hails from Thane, was identified and taken into custody by the Mumbai Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS). Investigations into her background revealed that she is a Bachelor of Science student and has been reported to be suffering from mental health issues. She allegedly indicated during the call that what happened to NCP leader Baba Siddiqui would also happen to Yogi, highlighting her intent to create fear.

The Mumbai Police are conducting a thorough investigation to determine the motivations behind Fatima’s threats. Authorities are probing whether she acted alone or if there was someone else involved in orchestrating the threat. This incident comes amid a series of threatening calls received by the Mumbai Police, particularly targeting public figures, including high-profile Bollywood actor Salman Khan.

Recent events have escalated tensions in Mumbai, especially following the assassination of NCP leader Baba Siddiqui by gang members linked to gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. The police remain on high alert as they work to ensure the safety of public figures and assess the broader implications of such threats in the city.

As the investigation unfolds, the Mumbai Police urge the public to remain calm and report any suspicious activity that could contribute to the ongoing threats against prominent individuals.
