A tragic incident shook the residents of Shakarpur, Delhi, as a 16-year-old boy named Sachin met a gruesome end at the hands of his own friends. Sachin had gone to a shop to buy a new phone and was returning home when his friends intercepted him near a snack shop. Excited to show off his new mobile phone, Sachin was met with unexpected demands for a party from his friends.
Despite Sachin’s explanation that he couldn’t afford a party, the situation quickly escalated into a heated argument. The dispute took a deadly turn when one of the friends, in a fit of rage, stabbed Sachin twice from behind with a knife. As Sachin collapsed, his friends fled the scene, leaving him in critical condition.
Prompt action by the locals saw Sachin rushed to the hospital, but tragically, he succumbed to his injuries while receiving treatment. The police launched an investigation and, with the help of CCTV footage, identified the culprits as three minors. The knife used in the attack was recovered, and the minors were detained under the Juvenile Justice Act.
The police reported finding two stab wounds on Sachin’s back and are actively pursuing leads to apprehend any other individuals involved in the brutal crime.
