The sacred Srisailam Kshetra, known for its majestic Dwadasha Jyotirlinga, has transformed into a beautiful spectacle during the auspicious month of Kartika. Devotees from far and wide flock to the temple, especially on the first Monday of Kartika, to seek the blessings of Mallanna. Located in Nandyal District, Andhra Pradesh, the famous Shaivite shrine of Sri Giri Kshetra buzzed with energy as the Lakshadweepotsavam and Dasha Aarti were conducted at the temple’s Pushkarini. Under the auspices of the Devasthanam, the celebrations marked the first Monday of Kartikamasa with grandeur.
During the festivities, the Utsavamurti of Ammavari was placed on a special platform at Mallanna Pushkarini, blessed by Bhramaramba and Mallikarjunaswamy.
