The excitement of Pro Kabaddi League Season 11 continues to intensify as U Mumba secured their first win of the season in a thrilling match against Gujarat Giants at the GMC Balayogi Indoor Stadium. After starting the season with a loss, U Mumba came back strong, defeating Gujarat 33-27. The match saw a standout performance from AmirMohammed Zafardanesh, whose Super Ten (10 points) propelled U Mumba to victory.

The second half saw U Mumba dominate the game, with Zafardanesh leading the charge. He dismissed Jitender and Neeraj early in the half, giving U Mumba their first significant lead at 18-13. Zafardanesh’s exceptional raiding, coupled with his defensive prowess, saw him execute two successful tackles, widening U Mumba’s lead further. Gujarat Giants, led by Partik Dahiya, made several attempts to claw back into the game, but U Mumba’s defense remained impenetrable.
Despite a valiant effort from Gujarat’s raiders, including notable contributions from Sombir and Pardik Dahiya, Mumba maintained their advantage. The final score of 33-27 sealed U Mumba’s first win of the season, with AmirMohammed Zafardanesh earning widespread praise for his outstanding Super Ten performance.
