He pointed out that the proposal to link Vijayawada’s metro to the capital, Amaravati, was also included. Minister Khattar responded positively, assuring that the proposal would be discussed with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and that the Centre would make a decision soon.

In addition to the metro projects, the minister brought attention to the Amrit-2 scheme, which had been pending in AP for the past five years. The AP delegation received promising responses regarding the potential revival of this scheme, adding to the sense of optimism surrounding the state’s development.

The visit to Delhi by AP’s ministers over the last two days has been focused not just on metro-related discussions, but also on securing funds for the development of Amaravati and other crucial projects.
