Heart-breaking truths are emerging.” Naidu also revealed that despite efforts by the media and public activists to uncover the extent of these developments, the previous government had kept Rushikonda’s exploitation concealed, even misleading bodies like the National Green Tribunal (NGT), the High Court, and the central government. The Chief Minister mentioned how he and Pawan Kalyan were previously prevented from visiting the site, limiting their ability to witness the damage firsthand.

In addition to condemning the prior government’s environmental policies, Naidu announced a significant infrastructure initiative: by Sankranti, all roads in Andhra Pradesh are set to be pothole-free. The government has allocated a substantial ₹7,860 crore for road repairs, a move that aims to improve daily commutes and ensure road safety for the state’s citizens.
