India completed its remarkable journey in the Paris Paralympics, achieving a historic milestone by bagging a total of 29 medals, including an impressive count of 7 gold medals. This outstanding feat marks the highest number of medals ever won by India in the Paralympics.

The highlight of India’s performance was the groundbreaking victory in archery, where Harvinder Singh secured India’s first-ever Paralympic gold medal in the sport. Additionally, Sumit Antil’s stellar javelin throw earned him a gold medal, setting a Paralympic record and adding to India’s gold medal tally.
