Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has announced that the government is committed to finding a lasting resolution to prevent flooding caused by the Yeleru and Suddagadda reservoirs. Pawan Kalyan, accompanied by district collector S. Shan Mohan, SP Vikranth Patil, panchayat rai director Krishna Teia, Kakinada rural MLA Nanaji, and former Pithapuram MLA Varma, conducted a visit to areas in Gollaprolu mandal affected by the floods, traveling by boat. During their visit, they engaged with the residents of Jagananna Colony. Pawan emphasized to the press that the district collector will oversee the relocation of individuals from vulnerable areas and flood-impacted villages to safer locations. He assured that he is determined to resolve the issues related to Suddagadda Vagu.

Russian cosmonaut Sergey Valdimirovich Korsakov and Dr. Srimathy Kesan, the founder and CEO of Space Kidz India, together with their team, met with Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan on Sunday. During the meeting, Kesan discussed Space research programs and presented the SR-O DEMOSAT satellite, the smallest satellite deployer developed by their team, highlighting its key features to Pawan Kalyan. Kesan advocated for the establishment of a Space Park in Andhra Pradesh to raise awareness about Space science among students and children, noting that such a facility currently only exists at NASA. Pawan Kalyan positively acknowledged Kesan’s proposal.

Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan honored Russian cosmonaut Sergey Korsakov and gifted him a prototype of Chandrayaan-III. He inquired about the Space station’s intriguing features and the research activities undertaken during Korsakov’s six-month residency there. In his address on Thursday, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan discussed a strategy to ignite a sense of determination among the youth in support of public causes. He outlined a comprehensive plan to nurture leadership skills among the younger generation, spanning from the grassroots level to the national stage within the next ten years. Reflecting on historical events like the Bengal split, he emphasized the importance of unity among key figures to prevent such divisions. Kalyan expressed his vision to instill this fighting spirit in the youth over the coming five years. Additionally, he announced plans for the establishment of an airstrip or airport near Tuni and the creation of an industrial corridor connecting Kakinada and Visakhapatnam, aiming to significantly boost regional development. Furthermore, initiatives such as avenue plantation across 30 hectares and spanning 16km were initiated as part of forest development programs. These efforts include the cultivation of nine different plant species to encourage eco-tourism while safeguarding wildlife, an area overseen by Pawan Kalyan in his role within the forest department.
