Specifically, regions like Darjeeling, Jalpaiguri, Kalimpong, Cooch Behar, and Alipurduar in the sub-Himalayan districts are expected to experience heavy rain until August 9, with potential landslides being a concern in hill areas like Darjeeling and Kalimpong.
