The process of filling teacher vacancies in government schools across the state of Telangana is facing extended delays as the school education department grapples with issues surrounding the release of the final answer key for the DSC online exams conducted on 6th September. Despite the initial release of the key, discrepancies and mistakes in the answers have led to widespread agitation among candidates across the state.

Officials from the education department have remained silent on the matter, leaving candidates and stakeholders in limbo regarding the timeline for announcing the DSC results. The delay in providing the District wise General Ranking List (GRL) along with TET marks has only added to the confusion and frustration among aspiring teachers.

Numerous objections raised by DSC candidates regarding the final answer key have not been adequately addressed, with concerns over discrepancies in marking and evaluation processes. The failure to release the GRL within the promised timeframe has further compounded the uncertainty surrounding the recruitment process.

In a bid to rectify errors in TET details submitted online, officials extended the deadline for corrections until September 13th. However, the delay in releasing the GRL and finalizing the selection of candidates for each post on a district-wise basis has left many applicants anxious and uncertain about the status of their applications.

Revanth Sarkar’s announcement about providing recruitment documents to DSC candidates on September 5th, Teacher’s Day, has offered a glimmer of hope amidst the prevailing confusion. Nevertheless, the lingering absence of DSC results even after the conclusion of September has cast a shadow of doubt and apprehension over the entire recruitment process.

Class 10 students studying in CBSE-affiliated government schools in the state of Andhra Pradesh are facing uncertainty and stress due to recent decisions made by the coalition government. The introduction of the CBSE system by Jagan Sarkar in government schools has created challenges for the students. While the CBSE system was initially aimed at improving learning outcomes for 10th-grade students, it has now led to confusion and concerns among both students and teachers.

The coalition government has announced that students studying under the CBSE system will now have to take the state board exams this year, despite having completed only 50% of the syllabus. This sudden shift to the state board syllabus has left students and teachers scrambling to adapt. The decision to introduce the state board syllabus mid-academic year has put immense pressure on students, especially regarding the completion of the Telugu subject within a tight timeframe of two and a half months.

Adding to the complexity is the discrepancy in textbooks used by CBSE and state board students. While CBSE students have been using old Telugu textbooks, the state board has introduced a new textbook, causing further confusion and delays in the learning process. The recent directive from CBSE to complete the new Telugu textbook by November 30 has only added to the time constraints faced by students.

Education experts are concerned that the sudden changes imposed by the coalition government will make it extremely challenging for students to complete the syllabus and adequately prepare for the upcoming public exams in March. Additionally, the requirement for CBSE students to now study Hindi, which is not part of the CBSE curriculum, further complicates the situation and increases the academic burden on students.

In a significant move, the state government of Andhra Pradesh has decided to conduct public examinations for class 10 students studying in one thousand government schools affiliated to CBSE according to the state syllabus. This decision comes after the government found that students in CBSE schools were not adequately prepared for board exams due to lack of proper training for teachers and students.

The state government issued an order to change the board from CBSC to SCSC, citing the need to ensure that students have the necessary skills to succeed in the examinations. The coalition government criticized the previous administration for introducing the CBSE examination system in 1000 schools without sufficient awareness, leading to concerns about student performance.

As part of the transition, students in these schools will now have the opportunity to write exams under the state board system, starting from the academic year 2025-26. The government aims to enhance students’ abilities gradually, starting from the 6th standard, to better prepare them for future challenges.

Meanwhile, in other news, the IBPS RRB Prelims Results have been announced on the official website. Candidates who appeared for the Common Recruitment Process-XIII examination for Officer Scale-1 vacancies can now check their results online. Those who qualified in the preliminary exam will proceed to the mains exam and interview rounds for final selection.
