From the era of CM Chenna Reddy to the present day, governments have played a significant role in helping the Telugu film industry flourish in Hyderabad,” Vishnu said.

He added, “In the current scenario, I urge ‘our’ members to avoid commenting on sensitive issues or expressing personal opinions. The law will take its course regarding the recent incidents. Public reactions or premature statements may only worsen the situation. What we need now is patience, empathy, and unity within the film fraternity.”

Manchu Vishnu also emphasized the importance of community spirit, saying, “The Telugu Movie Artists Association is like one big family. No matter what problems arise, we will face them together with unity. Let us stay strong and work collaboratively to overcome these challenges.”

In a recent tweet, the Association led by Vishnu Manchu stated, “In our continuous efforts to eliminate derogatory content targeting our artists on YouTube, we have blocked an additional 18 channels that propagate harmful material. Stay updated for more developments.”

The President of MAA expressed that the Association had received numerous complaints regarding channels that were making inappropriate comments about actors and their families disguised as humor. Urging creators of such videos to remove them within 48 hours, Vishnu warned of impending actions including reporting to YouTube, cybersecurity complaints, and legal measures to shut down non-compliant channels. He also called upon the authorities in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to extend their support in this endeavor.

This recent initiative on Wednesday follows the apprehension of Praneeth Hanumanthu, a YouTuber, who made insensitive and improper comments in a seemingly humorous manner on the subject of child abuse during a live session with other YouTubers. Vishnu praised Sai Dharam Tej for raising awareness about the issue.
